Don't worry Brenda, most often I don't know what I'm talking about either LOL. And please stay in the group!!! An SH does sound like an LS, maybe one is for planes and one is for ships? Who knows.

And Becky, Chris can't re-up just yet anyway, not til after Sept I think but I ws just glad he's thinking about it

Anyone else know about re-uping now?
Comment by becky m on February 18, 2010 at 10:37pm
Lisa some news for you. Its really hard to re-up right now. Not many are allowed to do it now. No money in the gov't. But with his good record he parobably has a good chance at it. I work with a woman whos son is in Pcola now training to be a recruiter. She tells me her son said there is a year waiting list to get into the Navy now. Don't know if its really true. Brenda too weird Jason has his 2000 mustang in Lemoore . Mustangs and Navy must go hand in hand. LOL I know in Lemoore they have a deployment lot that they keep the cars at. I think being an LS entails many different things. Mine orders parts and supplies for his squadrons F18's. Do you get to talk to Colin often?

I had to inquire about the group and someone was nice enough to find it for me :) Chris has been in for 2-1/2 years and is really considering re-up next year. Glad to hear that as there's no jobs out here for sure

I am in chicago so we are almost neighbors.. :) My son Jason is stationed at Lemoore Naval air staion in Lemoore Ca 5 1/2 hours north of SD so they are neighbors too. LOL He has been in since Nov 2008. I love it when they rub it in thats there no snow there. So I text him pics just so he doesn't forget what it looks like. How long has it been since the SK name changed to LS ladies? was it July? I forget. I hope that other new moms can find our group with the name change.

Brenda, snow here too in NH. Only we had almost a foot on Tues and we had such a beautiful day today, there's only 5 or 6 inches left, gotta love that!!!
