Good to know Lynda, Chris is on an Air base inJax right now, chances are he will never see a ship, which right now he is glad for, he went thru BC with pnemonia and landed his first 3 days of A school in the hosp. So he's a little nervous of the whold tight quarters thing after being that sick and sadly the only reason he didn't say anything was he knew my mom and myself already had reservations for his graduation, brings tears just thinking of that..he's a good son LOL. But he has shown all is officers that he is willing to do whatever it takes to move up and it has already shown, he's been picked over others that are higher ranked to do things (example going on deployment, he was incharge of getting ready, ordering and moving his whole fleet) Not too proud am I haha.

I feel for you Julie, my daughter just told me Chris is still looking into being a Seal......Ugh, not for me and I can't imagine MYSELF going thru all that training as it would definately NOT happen. I just would hate for my son to go thru that, and then after I think the detachment is really hard to take, let alone the danger that they would be in. I like it where he is now, but that's being selfish I supppose LOL

This is sooooo true. Your right they owe us since they have our kids. Shopping anyone??
Comment by becky m on February 10, 2010 at 10:09pm
If we shopped on that card I think my kid would be in the brig. How would Victoria secret look on a Naval docket bill? :)

Lisa I know you were'nt complaining. Mine was never a school kid either but did try one year of college before joining the Navy. School not for him but, finishined A school in record time! Go Figure??? Its cuz its something THEY wanted to do for themselves I guess. Mine also got an early promote and just got his first collateral duty as a plane capt. more stuff to learn..... Navy is a good thing! I say we get all the LS moms together and go find the principal and tell him off. :)
We can also come to Chicago and tell off some teachers here for me. You should be proud of Chris. Anyone's LS have a Navy credit card they use to order stuff with?
