FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Combat training??? Mine did't do that. Did anyone go thru combat training as an SK? Donna to bad you did not go to Ca with your husband. Did he make it back home yet??

Hi and welcome Julie. Congrats on getting thru Meridian!! Where is Riverine??? Hi everyone else haven't been on in a while. Daughter had her tonsils out and then we had to take her back to college. Empty house again!! :( Hope all is well with everyone.

Ok now I'm really confused....what is TAD and still confused about cranking??? Does that only happen on a ship my sailor is with a squadron. Donna I love georgia
would love to live there someday. Of course that depends on where my son is stationed??LOL How long will Brian be in S.D.??

Well Just got a text from Jas and he has his orginal hours back. Ha go figure!! :)
Lisa being with a Seabee unit sounds like she will never be bored. I would love to see Virgina beach someday. Its weird how some kids like Meridian and others don't. Congrats Jess and best of luck to both of you!!!

Hi all got hope safely from Lemoore and glad to be home. It was 107 degress out there. Base was something to see!! Jason had his hours changed while we were there so that cut some of time with him, Thanks Navy for doing that while we were visiting!! :) I was glad to ahve any time with him that I could!! I really enjoyed listening to him and my daughter exchange digs at each other, just
like they were at home. I miss him already! Hope all is well with everyone.
