FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I know my kid is wondering how I know so much!! :) I am thankful for N4M's for sure and all the help and support that is on here. I only hope that I can pass it forward some day. Yes, my sailor is home its been a week tomorrow already.
How come when they are home time goes so quick?? :) How long has everyone's sailors been deployed for when they were/are gone???

I am also wondering about any new SK adivice. Mine is a little worried he said he learned mostly shipboard SK classes and is now assigned to a NAS.
I am worried that there is a big difference!!

Things are finally going his way for a change. He is the kinda of kid that nothing seems to go his way, so this is good!! :) I just pray that he will do a good job.

Talked to Jason today he got written orders going to Lemoore for sure. He is happy he really wanted to be with a squadron.

He will be going to Lemoore NAS near Fresno according to the map I looked at?? Anybody know anyone there???
