Hi, I am new to this group.  I just made a request to join FB group also.

My son is in Meridian and attending school.  He started his school this week.  It is all so very different from boot camp, glad that he can call home a little more, its nice to hear from him.  He graduated from boot camp on the 2nd and we were there, they all looked so great, but LOL I sure had trouble finding mine in the sea of navy and the cropped hair.

I am hopeful that after school he will be able to come home before he is to go to his new station, where ever that may be.

ajazzylady4u - welcome to the LS group!!  Is your Sailor in boot camp, A school, or in the fleet?  My Sailor just graduated A school, came home for awhile and is now in Italy.

If you have requested to join the LS Navy family page (or plan to in the future) please check your "other" messages.  We are waiting on replies from a few people.  Thank you!

Hi everyone!

If there are new moms on here or if someone missed the other post - there is now a facebook group for LS family members to chat, share, ask and answer questions, etc.  It's a closed group so you will have to request to join but we will get you on as soon as we verify that you're not the enemy (lol).  We want to ensure the safety of our SR's/Sailors!!  Everybody's names on here are so different than the names on facebook so we may not recognize you right away.  We usually ask a question or two but please know that it's for the safety of loved ones serving their country!  We do follow OPSEC rules on that page as well! Hope to see you there!  Have a good day!

Try this for the page!  I don't know why it's not coming up in the search.  Sorry for all the problems!

Lynda and Kimmy, I sent both of you a friend request.  I can invite you on the f b page if you can't find it.  I don't know what the problem is - when I type it in it comes right up.
