Hi all...my emotions go crazy understanding what all of the new boot camp moms are going thru....even though my sailor graduated in July, it still gets to me!  Bless you all...when it is done, you will look back and think that it went by so slow, but so fast at the same time.  The tears will slow down...I promise.

Hi, I'm from Pismo Beach, CA. My Corpsman is graduating FMF(field marine force) Thursday, Dec.16th. It has been a long haul but he came through it with flying colors! So T will be assigned a marine platoon as their "Doc" when deployed. I'm happy to say that we will be spending Christmas with him this year!

If you all didn't know that Navy Corpsman are the most Respected out of the rates because of the wealth of medical knowledge that is learned in a very short period of time! Your Sailors have chosen a rate he can hang his hat on...You should be very Proud of your Corpsman as with all rates in the Navy!!

I hope Everyone on this site has a very heartfelt Christmas this year and a Happy New Year!!

Hi, ladies & Merry Christmas!  Are any of your Sailors a Corpman?  Any feedback (positive or negative) would be appreciated by a curious momma.  I have looked up some stuff on other Navy sites.  Mine may be going to that A school in the spring :-)  PM me if you could.....thanks!

The waiting is awful...praying a good nights sleep for you!

Comment by BBWinthemoon on December 14, 2010 at 12:55am

Still waiting for the "box" and form letter, lots of moms who's sons left the same day, have already gotten theirs, nothing yet, a little frustrated and sad, happy for all of them though...It has been a tough week, the days are ok as I am busy, but the nights are long and sleepless, so I am sure the lack of sleep is not making things any easier.
