Hi All. We were very fortunate to have our sailor home for 2 1/2 days for Thanksgiving from Pensacola. He was here for my dad's 75th birthday so it was extra special, as well as he asked his girlfriend to be his wife! A very busy weekend!!!! He will also get to be back for Christmas from 12/16 to 12/26. I kind of feel spoiled! He finally starts his A school Dec. 6th so, after PIR 7/23, he is finally on his way!

Hi MOMS! My son is leaving for GL on Thursday, he is going to san diego with the others on Tuesday and final stuff on Wednesday. What a roller coaster! He is so ready and excited to go. I am happy for him, and know that this is a great opportunity for him to have a wonderful future, just scared of the unknown I guess.

We had a blessed Thanksgiving with our Sailor girl, who's ship is changing ports soon :( We are thankful to have had her close for awhile since she was on deployment this time last year. Blessings to all Navy moms!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! Thank you for being my Navy Family. I think that is going to be a tough couple of weeks! Ship out is 10 days!

Darsete. Just an update, PIR was great today. I got a chance to take pictures of both my sailors together. So excited. And the award that he received was Sharpeshooter and he missed expert by 5 points. Plans to try again to upgrade his rating.
