OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I know that Darsete has talked about a Meet & Greet in downtown Orange, It is about in the middle of most areas, LA, Riverside, SD. If that works for most I will contact a resturant near by. Let me know who is interested.

May 22 sounds good for a Meet 'n Greet in downtown Orange! My daughter returned 3/26 from a deployment on the Nimitz & now is in SD.

Hey everyone! If you've got a man on the Cape St. George, come join our group. There's only 4 of us and we are going to need each other on the coming deployment. Loves!

Dawn, what year did your son graduate from TVHS?
Comment by Amanduh on April 14, 2010 at 8:12pm
saw this in a magazine, thought i'd pass it on:

This year canvas on demand, a company that turns your photos into canvas portraits is offering a 16x20 picture to any mom of a deployed service member. Your sailor just needs to go to www.canvasondemand.com and register under "operation mom".
