Deployments are good.  Yes , the more they get out there the better they are.   They have the short deployments to practice not being detected.  Train new people.   I pretend he is still at home.   As much as I saw him when he lived at home, it was similar.

Hello oopsadaizys I did receive a phone call from him on 7/29 the same day he left to Great Lakes, at around 10:30 PM Pacific time. My son sound very tired. Now we are waiting for the box where he sent his clothes and I cannot wait until I receive his first letter.

Wait a minute, is this group for moms that live in CA or for moms of sailors that are in CA?

Hi Brandon'sMom. My son in law arrived three hours ago in GL. My daughter got the emotional call that he's safe. She said he sounded tired but alert if that makes sense. Did you receive a call from your son yet?

Thank you Yolanda,

After I read several Mom's comments I feel a little strong inside . I am trying to give him all my support and confidence. The time for his deployment is close and I know that I have to keep myself together.

Sandra:)
