Good morning to all. Does anyone know about the group for wives/significant of US Navy Corpsmen in San Diego, CA area? My husband, US Navy Corpsman, just got orders and went there on Friday to San Diego, CA Hospital base. I had never been there, so i would like to connect to other, preferably middle aged, wives from there. I know i'll follow sometime in the future and would like to have some housing/living situation before i get there. Thank you for whomever responds, God Bless, in Solidarity, m.

Hi Everyone, My daughter just left for boot camp on 8/13. She is in Great Lakes. We are for the L.A. area and she is planning on making this her career. I haven't been able to speak to her yet nor have been able to get a letter but I am hoping this week since we are entering week 2. I was very happy to hear about this site from my husbands Aunt she said it helped her a lot when her son left for the Navy. :)

Congrats to your daughter on this new journey.  My daughter graduated 4 years ago tomorrow and yes it was amazing and it still is.  Now the good part, you can talk to her when your schedules allow. I used to Skype a lot with my daughter when she was in Pensacola and Norfolk.  We even plotted a Skype birthday party.  Coming up with ideas to keep her spirits up has been fun.  Enjoy the ride, mom!
