DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Thanks for the prayers Melsmom! ! Yeah Janie, I've been down this dusty bc road alot the past year, a few of my sons friends in the group are in now. Caitlin is the closest to my heart and the last to go. Got her address today, mailed her two letters so far, plain, simple, and full of fun stuff to keep her feeling loved...She is going to be stuck there for winter I'm afraid, as her rate does A school there. I promised her a weekend before snow flies, that i'd go and see her, as her dad and family are going to her grad. I'm actually hoping to get to Cali to see my son before his deployment.

Hi Laura glad to hear all is well. Make sure you write letters and send pictures. No cards with music, there is lots of stuff that is not allowed. When is her PIR. She is glad she is not there in winter. Bad place for a kid from Florida. BRRR.

Her box came, she called today actually, i have her address, she is fine, upbeat, she has this she says, and she sounds so good! Not sure if I'm going to PIR, im her surrogate momma, so the real family is most likely going. I plan to fly up later in the fall to see her for a weekend.

Hi Laura: Have you heard from your daughter yet? Have you gotten the box with all her belongings? That one made me cry. We are here for you. Are you going to PIR?
