Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Saturday, February 25th - Pot Luck Luncheon, 11am at Bobbie's house in Irvine. Bring something to share for the Pot Luck and enjoy a fun afternoon with other local Navy moms! Please, NO SEAFOOD. Because this event is going to be held in one of our member's home, the address will only be forwarded via private message to those attending. I know we all have busy schedules, but please try and come. There is always wonderful conversation and something to learn from the experiences of fellow Navy moms. Sorry I have been a flake.  If you do not already know, my Sailor's younger brother took his life three weeks ago.  He battled depression for many years.  It is like someone having cancer and passing, you know it is possible but the shock is still tremendous.  Scott, my Sailor is doing very well and was able to be home for ten days, it was wonderful!  I now have some major health issues, not related to Mark but definately related to stress.  I hope to be able to see you all soon.  Nancy

missed all of you yesterday...hope to be able to meet soon.  On my way to Virginia on Monday 11/7 thru Saturday 11/12 to help sailor & his wife set up their new apartment in Virginia Beach. He is on the boat right now and enjoying it.  I would love to try to do some of the Operation Gratitude events.  Thanks for the info.

was so great to see you today! so sorry that I have been MIA, I will try and stay involved more often. Let me know when you are meeting again. Looking forward to meeting those who I have not met yet. This is a great little group. Thank you Rosemary and Gina for keeping it going.

Hi Everyone, I know that it has been way to long and I am sorry I have not been around, it has been a little crazy, but I am going to try and make it out on the first. Just had a great weekend with some moms from my PIR group who came out to visit! Hope that you and your sailors are all doing well.
