Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

ty... my son is in San Diego.. he doesn't have much time to spend in SanDiego because he is always working..but likes it alot.. if you have any questions feel free to ask me :)

it wasn't like when he became a officer graduation.. but it was nice and im glad our family went... get use to him not telling you anything about his job in the navy.. that is the hard part of being a navy mom and being so far away :)

hi all
haven't heard from this group in awhile.. I made it down to Athens Ga 4 times and loved every visit.. im just wondering how are every is doing and there sailors?? my sailor has been in San Diego since Sept/09 on the USS GreenBay he is doing great and has done a awesome job being a new supply officer and we are very proud of him, we did make it out to SD for Christmas and had a blast.. it would be great hearing from others in this group about there sailor's takecare Dee

Hi everyone... my LO and I are moving to Athens for supply school and I was hoping that someone could help us... he likes a place at 350 gilmer street, does anyone know that area (it's really close to the school) or would be willing to do a drive by and tell us what it looks like? We would really appreciate it!

Congratulations soon to be Grandma Vicki....and on your other son's up and coming wedding, there is a short story on the navymil.com site about Capt Titus im sure Peter already knows about it and all the details.. its sad

Captain Titus was the commanding officer for the Navy supply school in Athens Ga, Navy Mil.com has the story well kinda a story

Congratulations Barbara!!!!! on your sons assignment, my son loves Hawaii, my son is SanDiego so they have travel there when they can lol,my son called last night he was kinda upset about Capt Titus's being replaced, my son thought highly of him :(
