Please, please remember before you post: our sons are part of a Special Operations community, even while in training, and it is vitally important to form the habit of not divulging any information that could possibly compromise the safety of any of their members. This would especially apply to names, dates, places, procedures, etc. You might like to read the "Discussion Forum" titled "OPSEC" for some guidance. If you are still in doubt, please ask one of our members for their opinion by private message before you post. We are here to help each other, but we must be careful at all times.

Hi SWCC family.  Congratulations on D'sMum38's son's engagement.  That's wonderful. I'm new to this.  My son will be leaving his prep and just starting in San Diego. Anything I should expect? I know it is very nerve wracking and I am hoping they all make it through. Happy Easter and Passover everyone. So proud of all our servicemen.

One of the dearest of our SWCC mom members passed away after a year long battle with cancer. I met Zephyrmom on this site 4 years ago and we continued to text until a few weeks before her death. I will miss her so very much. Rest in peace dear Zephyrmom and may God bless your warrior son.
