Please, please remember before you post: our sons are part of a Special Operations community, even while in training, and it is vitally important to form the habit of not divulging any information that could possibly compromise the safety of any of their members. This would especially apply to names, dates, places, procedures, etc. You might like to read the "Discussion Forum" titled "OPSEC" for some guidance. If you are still in doubt, please ask one of our members for their opinion by private message before you post. We are here to help each other, but we must be careful at all times.

slimkim, I'm SO happy you got a letter. I hope you didn't stalk the mailman too bad! LOL We used to joke about that in my PIR group along with duct taping the phone to our hand so we would never miss that call!

Welcome HalfofaWhole, I hope you know your name will end up with a nick name! Just about everyone's does. Your bf is goin SWCC? That's awesome. There are many posting now with upcoming PIR. Are you going to attend? If any Boot Camp ladies need PIR advice there is a lot on this site. Just ask and someone will have the answer/advice.

slimkim, your son's PIR is 12/30? Try not to worry, we always say "no news is good news." They keep them very busy those last weeks.

It sounds like there quite a few who will be classing up in the next month or so. I'm thinking they will all be together whether they are in Great Lakes now or already in Calif. Let's keep in touch as we go through this journey.
