Thank you kelly59. :-)
Welcome Melray & Robby's Mom! Enjoy your sons PIR on 10/12 & best of luck to them in their SWCC training ahead! Have fun at the Meet & Greet also!
Hi ladies. I'm joining this site a little late. My SR's PIR is 10/12 and I can hardly wait. It's been great having the N4M site. I'm so impressed with the support everyone offers. We are looking forward to the meet n greets too.
My sons PIR is 10-12-12 and he will be staying in Great Lakes until December and then going to California..
Thanks pamom! I am so excited to get to PIR!
A 3 word text would be a-ok with me. I have re-learned that no news is good news. :) Time does seem to fly by...I can't believe how fast bootcamp went....and I am hearing from many moms how fast 2+ years go. Crazy.
Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Cheers!!
Wow!! Lots of new moms on here which is nice to see:)
Welcome Joanie ,Trixiebell and Chellita... this is a great place to come and "vent". There will be alot of worrying on your part. ( well, I did that! maybe you won't ) lol! Once they start training... no news is good news for sure. They will be so incredibly tired each night, you might not hear from them for quite awhile. I would get one usually get a 3 word text... "I'm still kickin" so I would know he was still ok. That's really all I needed.
Kelly59 is right,, it seems like soooo long ago that our W's PIR'd, those 2 years just flew by. my W will be deploying for the 1st time in 1 week. Something I knew was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier.
Enjoy PIR girls... it is an awesome experience, and just wait... the SWCC graduation is an even more awe-inspiring,heart swelling, tears falling experience!!
Have a great day SWCC friends:)
Welcome & Good Luck to Joanie & Trixiebell too!

Thanks D'sMum35! Glad we have each other. :) I have figured out already that I will know nothing. Totally ok with that.
Thanks so much BJA57. I thought I knew a lot of jargon and acronyms, etc. New vocabulary/language to learn. LOL!!! I hope no one minds the friend requests I am about to send. We are one big Navy family and I appreciate each and every one of you. :) hugs
