New Tampa Bay Area mom here.  My son has not yet reported but I'd love to get into a "Navy Circle".

In case anyone is interested She has changed the date to Nov. 20th.

PS I think next time will be Nov. 5th which is a Saturday. Last time we meet at 12:30.

The American Legion is around the Corner of Park Blvd. and 113th Street In Seminole.

This past Saturday afternoon I went to the Seminole American Legion for a moms Blue Star Luncheon. I received my Blue Star Banner. It was great to meet with other moms. I was the only mom of a Navy son or daughter. All the others were of the Army branch or Cost Guard. If any one is interested in joining me next time I would love for a fellow Navy mom, girl friend, or wife to join me. I had a nice time and am looking forward to our next luncheon...

Sherrill - congrats on son's orders.  Happiness happens between bases.

As mom's, it is our right and our duty to embarrass as best we can.

If I had a daughter that grew out of that tee shirt, I'd go have one made up for her!

I think I WILL go have one made up for me.  We have a "Big Frog" store across the street.

Too bad we didn't connect!

I definitely remember the two girls in the hot pink shirts saying "Sailors are Awesome".  That's neat that we crossed paths!

Maybe I should have a tee shirt made up that asks in big letters:

"Are You On NavyforMoms.com?" or just says "www.NavyForMoms.com"

I bet I'd run into lots of moms who are!

Yes, Monday.  I wore a grey Division T-shirt and was with my son, Peter, who is a large guy.  We got on the second shuttle for the 10:30am group.  What time was your tour?

While we were waiting, I saw 2 people drop off unused tickets - one was a set of two and the other was 4 tickets!

My son and I were in the 10:30 am tour group.  That's so cool that your dad met someone he was stationed with.  Wow!!!  I saw quite a few older retired Navy guys on the tours.
