I am from Pinellas Park and am attending the packing party at the Army Navy Post and would like to meet some of you if you can make it. The Packing Party is very rewarding to participate in and Dana does a wonderful job along with the ladies of the post organizing it. They had lunch for sale the last packing party afterwards. Just a thought for you all to think about. Hope to see some of you then.... Or you could go afterwards also for lunch:)

There's a packing party in Largo on the 23rd of July.  Maybe we should reconsider our plans.  We could attend the packing party (11 am to 1 pm) and then have a late lunch, or move our lunch to August?

Shopping?  I love to shop!

11 am is good for me.

As for headcount:  1 from Pinellas

Okay - I'm back from PIR.  It was great.  I am so relieved to be able to have phone contact with Sailor (at will) now that he is in Pensacola and boot camp is over.  Phew.

We're still on for July 30th?

Where do we meet in Wiregrass?

Wiregrass Mall would work.  We'll see.

JB's Mom Cori - you SO nailed it about being relieved after that call.  I'm looking forward to this weekend, but The Call was important.

I'm in Palm Harbor - close to Dunedin.

July 30th is fine for me.

We'll see if we get any more to join us before we settle on a location.

Brandon is far!

Let's try to do a gathering mid-July.  How about the 16th or 23rd?  Haven't done this before - do we meet at somewhere like IHOP?  Have you had gatherings in the past?  What time works best?  Suggestions please!

Got the "I'm a Sailor" this afternoon.  What a great feeling!  This was all I wanted.   PIR is just icing on the cake.  Now I can relax and enjoy the rest of it all.

Yeah, pros and cons.  No matter what, it's going to be incredible.  I can't complain!  I just want to get my hands on my new Sailor!  I will be sure to let you all know about how it goes.  Not sure about the best way to post pix - give me suggestions on that please.  My SR will be going to Pensacola too.  I can go up to attend graduation there (although it was closer for you)  but I'm not sure I want to do that based on what you said about making them wear dress uniforms (not necessary).
