LauraSolomon - that's great that you can follow your "kids" around.
Enjoy!
Personally, I'd rather be inside - to see those doors opening with the division lined up outside is very dramatic. And the screens for close ups and PA system. I imagine we're going to be in the sun with the bugs and the heat. I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Gotta get there at 4:30 am too... a long morning... We'll all probably go back to the hotel and take a nap. I'm definitely not a morning person. But I will be for my Sailor!!!
Thanks LauraSolomon, and have a great trip to CA. I hope the ground stays still for you :->
JB's Mom Cori - Our Div 932 and 933 moms asked for pix from the 06/17 PIR, so I know what you mean about being asked for photos. One of our gal's husband sang a duet at the 06/17 PIR so she's getting the DVD.
My son is going to Pensacola for A School, which is actually funny because one of the big draws of enlisting was to get out Florida. Instead, they're sending him right back! My son would rather live somewhere cold and rainy.
A week from today, I'll be attending my son's PIR!
I'm in Palm Harbor and would love to meet up with other N4M people (after I return).
I'll try to post a recipe or two this weekend.
Hi All,
I'm new to this group. I'm in the Tampa Bay area and my son is currently in boot camp. I should be attending PIR on 07/01/2011 barring unforeseen circumstances.
Donna, I am sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he is getting better. And about your son's diagnosis of diabetes. At least there is the upcoming grandbaby to cheer you - and he/she certainly will!
