Happy New Year to all. Hope everyone had a great Christmas too. Taking down all the decorations in the house including the tree. Found a nice sailor tree ornament at the Rogers Christmas Wonderland in Clearwater FL. That made me feel like my son was with me. Funny how we think.........

Hope the wreaths across America was nice. I went to the one at Bay Pines in St. Pete last year. Lots of people. Then after we all went to the Seminole American Legion for a barbecue. Could not make it this year due to bad timing. Will try and go next year. My father in law is at Bushnell. He was Army/Navy. Maybe some year we can go to Bushnell. I am sure there is a whole lot more people turn out for it. What a nice thing to do during the Holidays to remember what some did for us many years ago........

Thanks... Not sure about the Christmas time off yet, He is in First stage at A school and has no time off yet.... He says it is much relaxed and the food is much better ha ha.. His girl friend is hoping to be able to see him for Christmas or New Years. His school is on hold for a few weeks or so... We would drive up at Christmas time to see him if he could see us. His GF wants him to go to Ohio and meet her family. I do not think he will be able to get off a few days to fly to be with her and family..... We will see....
