OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son Graduated!!!! What a great experience it was... It was so great to hug him after all these weeks.... He looked so grownup also. We had a great time visiting him. Spent a day in Chicago. That was exciting to say the least. Was a great trip except for getting lost a lot..... Was hard to say good bye :( But we sure loved seeing him for 3 days..... He is in Pensacola FL now. And he can go on FB and chat with us.... So it is not so bad now. What a difference!!!! Can't wait to see him again.... Life is so much better now....

We are down to 9 days till PIR I am doing the Happy dance..... It has been a long journey and most of us are ready to see our Sailors... Hope everyone is good. The Holidays are just around the corner. I see some groups are sending care packages to ships. What a great idea... The Drill Team is great I see why they won!!

Hey Ladies I am from Pinellas Park and have a son in Boot camp going to graduate on Nov. 12Th. I can't wait to see him Graduate. I am happy to see a site for our area. I belong to the Seminole American Legion. I know only one lady from there who has a husband in the Navy. So I am looking forward to coming and chatting with everyone.

Hi Moms! I'm in for a get together, I vote for sometime after the 4th too. Anywhere works, I'm in NPR. Sailor is in Naples, Italy, living life like a rockstar, he's a corpsman - surgical tech and LOVES it there! He's coming home for Christmas this year and we are planning a trip to Italy for next summer to see him!
