Well, I guess you could say that I am new to this group. My daughter is not yet "officially" in the Navy, but she laeves for BC on January 4th, 2011 and then off to 'A' school for Corpsman! She is so excited and is working on preparing herself for when she leaves, if you have any suggestions/ideas/or just anything to prepare her or myself please let me know, that would be wonderful!

Morning ladies, Hoope everyone is well and their sailors are doing good. Mine just started his new tour in Maryland yesterday so I am sure they are still finding their way around. My daughter in law is expecting a little girl mid April so looks like I will be making a trip from Florida there sometime soon. Glad they are back in the states and closer to home.

Good monring all! It's been a while since I've popped in! Welcome to all the new Navy moms! Any plans on having a spring time get-together?
My son is stationed in Naples, Italy now but he is a surgical tech Corpsman and has been deployed to Haiti on the USNS Comfort since earlier this month. Have only spoken iwth him once since he's been there but he tries to e-mail me when he can! While in Italy we skype - it's a great! I just love being able to see him and talk at the same time! :0)
