Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

It is possible that it will be 3/2 or 3/9. It depends on what he went in for. There are some that have to wait a few days longer in processing to form their Div, at least that is what I have heard being in that 3/2 group. It will help you so much being on there in getting information. It has been a great support group. 3/9 group is in the making and not a group yet anyway so joining the 3/2 will at least give you some support now even if it turned out to be 3/9. If you don' t get your form letter by tomorrow, I would call the recruiter and see if he/she had his Ship/Div. Some have been able to get that information from the recruiter and some the recruiter didn't have it but it would be worth a shot so you would at least know what one your child will be in. I know the lost feeling that you have right now it is a horrible feeling. This site has helped me so much in not being lost, if you have any questions you can ask them in the 3/2 group, they are very eager to help in any way. God bless you and your SR as you go thru this.

Lesie, Thank you so much for your kind reply. My son will be going to A School in FL for Cryptology Training after he graduates. i will certainly take your advice. I am grateful to connect with the wonderful moms in this group and really apprediate everyone's reassuring words and assistance.
