Anyone else have a son/daughter leaving for BC on Jan 9th? I am trying to learn as much as I can as this is our first military experience. Getting pretty sentimental the last few weeks...Thanksgiving...now Christmas. He is super excited, and I am too, just very emotional right now! He will be going into the Nuke program.

I know how you feel. My son is also leaving on Jan. 9th from Houston. Now that it's a week away, it's going to be so hard to see him go. But he is very excited as well, so I'm trying to be supportive.
Hello, I am from Mineral Wells, which is about 45 minutes from Ft. Worth. My son left Jan 9th as well and is going into the Nuke program. I know exactly how you feel. I was very emotional for the last few weeks. I miss him so much and wonder how he is doing. I pray every day for him. I am anxious to get his address so we can start sending him letters.
