OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Where about in Richardson? I am on the Garland/Richardson/Dallas border, in other words Plano Road & Buckingham.
I am in Garland as well (Plano & Buckingham). My son has been in since Jul 2004. Currently back in Great Lakes for another school. His new duty station will be at Ft. Mead in the Washington DC area

MeLinda... yes I live in West Richardson, just south of UTD campus (so opposite of where you are). I have sent you a friend request. I am still learning how to navigate this group discussion page, and didn't know to go all the way to the back, duh.  LOL!

We will need to get together for lunch or dinner soon. Don't worry about the navigation, I am sill learning myself as it seems like there is always something new or changing.
Waiting for you I am in red oak close close to you

I am a mom with a son in DEP from the Benbrook area (SW Fort Worth).

I'm in Allen, son's in BC, due to graduate 4/11. Going to GL for A School.

Springtown, Texas, here but work in Fort Worth.  My son is at "A" school in Goose Creek, SC.  He's about to graduate from his first school there.  He gets to have Liberty afterwards and is coming home for a visit.  He says that he's bringing someone from Arlington, TX, along with him so he won't be alone on the trip.

Hi - looking forward to the DFW Navy Moms Dinner tonight!

Live in Farmers branch.  Daughter headed to the Truman.

I live in Corinth. My Son left on March for RTC. He's on Ship 14 Div 143.

Hello, future Sailor's Mom here in FloMo/Lewisville area.  My son will not dep until later this year.  He's been accepted into the Nuke program.
