Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

One of the hardest things was to leave the airport knowing he was still inside! I'm so proud! The tears started when I got home and the dog was lying in front of Chris's bedroom door. It is going to be a long 8 weeks! :)

We had to drop our son off on Sunday. He left out on Monday.  We did get to talk to him from the airport here and there. We are a very close family so this is ready hard. He is the youngest if 4 and also a twin.  He has never been separated from his twin either.  We started writing letters already, once we have an address we will send them off. It really helped me to start writing. It kinda of help put it in perspective, that he won't be gone forever.   Both my son and I worked at the same place for awhile, so friends are also including letters with mine.  My son also has a dog,Duke is not sure what is going in, but he does have the twin to count on. And yes its going to be a long 8 weeks
