Hi everyone, QuiltLady just left my house. We have been eating pizza. Eric's wife and Ariel, we are going to look for an opportunity to get together with you. Cindy Lou's son is getting married in May to his high school sweetheart. I hope she joins here and gets to know you even though she'll join him in SC for nuke school soon. Becoming an officer is definitely possible. Talk to you tomorrow.

I cannot make it may 2nd, my husband should be returning from a school either the first or second of may. I deffinitley want to try to make it to another one though!

Ariel- my sister lives in Bakersfield and her husband is in Japan right now...im sure' she'll be spending lots of time with me when i move up to nor cal.

Love hearing your stories ladys! it's reassuring to know that you have made it through all of this and are still going strong! I can't tell you how much crap eric and i got for getting married young (20 and 19)...we still get crap! we don't care anymore..we know we're just going to prove everyone wrong.

Natesmom- My husbands dad has 0 respect for the navy. I'm not sure if he gets it, or if he ever will. My dad did 24 years in the navy, I grew up in housing and the military life is the only life i know! It makes me really mad when erics dad complains about the way the navy does things and "thats stupid" and those kind of remarks. It was so embarrassing to sit with his dad at his PIR. The things he was saying, doing, yelling, were just disrespectful.

Hi Ariel, are you going to be able to make it to San Bruno for the meet and greet on May 2? I live down the Peninsula - so let me know if you are coming down my way.
Eric's Wife, how about you?
I have been married for 29 years (not as long as quiltlady) but longer than you gals have been alive. Believe me having some support system is important - particularly when he is GONE on deployment.

Well,Andrew is still at the boot-camp in Great Lakes,IL on medical hold. They are still jerking him around. All we need to know is if the lymph node has gotten bigger or not. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm ready for him to start A school. He's starting to feel like there's no hope. ugh. I'm a little stressed today.

Sorry I haven't been on much. I just started school a couple days ago,so I'm alittle all over the place lol. But I promise I'll try to get on more often! =)
Andrew is still on hold and I have a ct scan tomorrow to check out a lump on my neck. I know that it is probably nothing but they want to check it out.
My 16 month old little girl just started walk about two weeks ago! Time to potty train! I'm so excited about that.Well, I am going to get off here and study for my medical terminology test and head to bed. Andrew is suppose to call me after he gets his rack and everything set up for the night. Feel free to write me. Miss you guys!

I'm doing good still. Andrew had an appointment today and thursday he is having another ct scan to find out if the lympnodes have gotten bigger or smaller. I am keeping my fingers crossed they have gotten smaller. If so then he will be able to head of to a school.
But I am doing my best to keep his spirits up. He is doing so well with being patient.
