Heard from my son on Mother's Day in HI. I told him to make sure to try a SPAM Burger before he left.lol And if thy past the Big Isalnd to look for the Volcanos. He said their next stop is GUAM. **Warned him though** Even though Guam is a US Territory, its intl roaming for all phone usage there. It's not like Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands. You get charged for intl roaming.

My daughter is doing her cadet shipping on The Mercy, she just finished her sophomore year at Maine Maritime Academy. I am looking forward to hearing how her first week has gone when they arrive in Hawaii. We heard from her just before they headed out of San Diego, so no idea how she is doing.

I heard from my son about the waves and choppy waters. He said that when the ship leans right he can leap up the stairs higher. It's really funny. And of course he talks about how great the food is. Such a guy. Thinks with his stomach.
