Planning to go to Bremerton after homecoming. Does anyone know if the only way to get from Seattle to Bremerton is via the ferry?
New sailor headed your way, USS Connecticut! He's ready and eager to join y'all. Fair winds and following seas to all of you!
Hi. Just found this group. My sailor got his hard orders yesterday to head to USS Connecticut. Wanted to see what we can expect. He will be heading there later this spring.
HI Freeasabrd - My son has been on board for almost a 1 1/2 years. He is actually home right now for the first time since then, and it is so wonderful to see him. - we are from Connecticut.
How is your son doing?
HI - My son just got his "soft orders" for USS CT. He is graduating "A" school at the end of August. We are from Connecticut, so it has been great having him just 2 hours away for the past 10 months. WA is about as far away as you can get from the east coast.. although having him so far away will be a big adjustment, this is another part of his life that will help shape the man he is becoming. Now we start working on the logistics of having his car out there, what to do with his car while on deployments, etc. If anyone has any tips, please let me know and I can pass them along. Have a great day
HI I am new to this group , My son is with the USS Connecticut I was just out there to Visit Him and had a great time was so happy to see my son , we are from Michigan.
