Nan, so good to hear you had a great time. It sounds like you did a lot while you were there. But I know the best part was being with Matt. We were on the big Island with Aaron the week before the guys got back. If we had the time (& money) we have loved to go to Oahu to see the sub come in. Maybe next time.

Hey There Families,

Just letting you all know that there is a Tsunami warning for the Pacific Basin, and that the boat is fine and not in any danger. If this affects you, could you please email the Ombudsman at ColumbiaOmbudsman@yahoo.com Thanks and I hope you are all well.

Oops Sorry I guess I didn' make that clear. Yes Aaron is finished with scuba school, had his pinning ceramony last Wed. And is now ready to dive under and around the sub.

He is now back in Hawaii and started ETMS classes. Not to sure but I think he said Maintanence Supervisor.
Would love to see the picture Nancy.

i remember making up an Easter box for my daughter while she was on deployment last year. The holiday boxes are always fun.

Hi everyone, I was just checking in to see how everyone was doing. Even though Aaron isn't there I still think of all the guys. Out there.

Aaron finished his SCUBA school last week. He is now back in Hawaii take another class and waiting for his submates to return.

I think they are all on the down hill side now.

That is a lot of snow! Hawaii winters usually consit of high surf and more rain. this years has seen a huge rise in surf conditions, later this week we are looking at 20 foot swells on the North Shores and even our South Shores are seeing a rise in wave heights. Best of luck with the snow, I can't imagine what that is like.

Indeed I do. :) I wasn't trying to be rude. I just did more OPSEC Training last week so it is all still fresh in my mind.
