Got A thanksgiving call from Aaron, he was on duty, but was getting ready to eat his turkey. Glad to hear they are celebrating where ever they are.

5:am we got a text, it was Aaron saying "i know it's early there but......We got on the computer and we had a 1/2 hour conversation on I-chat, it was so good to see him. He had duty on one of the days so I don't think he got to see to much of where they were. I think it will be a while before we get to hear from him again.

I just got a phone call from Aaron, everything is great. It was a very short call, but it was good to hear his voice.

Hi everyone, Nancy after you said that Julia had heard they were in port, so I texted (is that correct?) Aaron. He wrote back saying yes they were somewhere for 2 days, one of which he had duty, and now they are on there way (?). I don't know if I can say where.

Sundays seem to be the worst around my house. It's usually the day that we all try to talk to each other. Granted it doesn't happen every Sunday, but if not, I know we will connect sometime that coming week. But now Sundays I know there will be no call for some time.

Like you said Nan.....even though they are far away in Hawaii this worse. It's because we know we don't have that communication at our finger tips.

Great video and Poem.

Here is another one, I'm sure some of you have seen it already, it has been on here on other groups.

Fond memories i still recall
of days gone by when you were small
the years have passed, and you have grown
and now you venture on your own
although im sad youve gone away
im proud you serve the USA
and though i wish that you were here
i'll always keep you very near.
i miss you so when we're apart
you're always in my mind and very heart
if you need strength to see you through
remember that i'll be there with you

Got a call from Aaron late this afternoon, PST. Said he could not talk long. They had their get together and they were off. I was really happy he called. Last night right in the middle of the conversation he had to go,some one was at the door. He said he would cal back but never did. So it was good to hear his voice one more time.
So.....her we go.
