Welcome Emptynestnow, glad you found us. We are a small group just like the subs. But always here for each other.

Hope your son enjoys his first time out. What is his rate? My son Aaron has been on the Columbia 3 1/2 years. He is an Nuke ET.

Feel free to ask us any questions you may have, someone usually has an answer. If you friend me I will send you the blanket information.

Hi- my son will finally be underway inboard for the first time- he's 19 and I feel a bit like I'm revisiting boot camp although he's been in the Navy now for almost 11/2yrs! I'm excited that he finally will be underway, yet apprehensive about the disconnection. Glad to find this group!
I like the blanket and would like info on getting one, too, please!

Hi everyone, and Happy Spring!!!

The FRG is selling blankets. I got one around christmas time. I see they are selling them again. If anyone is interested I will PM the info.

I will try to get a pic on here.

This was from the FRG mins.

- 3rd blanket order: USS Columbia blankets are still $40 a piece and we will be starting a 3rd order at the April meeting. We will also be extending this order to all of the single sailors on the boat as well. Please allow roughly 8-12 weeks for the blankets to be delivered after the order is placed.
