Are we all getting antsy????.....I know I am!!!

But much to my surprise I did receive my 1st email this morning from Aaron. Not much was said, it almost seemed like it was written a while ago and not sent till now. But then again I guess everyday is pretty much the same for them. Which in their case is good.....let them save the excitement for when they hit ports. :)

Just got back from attending my daughters reenlistment. She will be a sailor for another 4 years. It was a nice ceremony, when she got to speak she thanked her shipmates and a special thank you to her brother for all his help and encouragement. Wish he could have been there like he was there for her Boot Camp graduation.

Gave a mamma have goose bumps of pride. Just had to share.

Yes, we are a small group but a good group for each other, I'm glad we are all here together.

Yes, no word for a while, and I guess it will be a while longer. I will keep writing emails. Sent a package last week. Aarons BDay ia at the end of August, so don't know it will be way to early or late. Doesn't matter as long as he gets it.

Heading down to see my other sailor next week, she is reenlisting and wants us there for the ceramony. I think it's takes all of 20 mins.....if that. But that's ok we will be there and of course it will be great to see her. We will stay for about 4 days with her.

I hope Logan will get to come home for the baby. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, just checking in.

I talked to Aaron right before they left. I so wanted to give a hug. But that will have to wait. I just felt so far away from him. I have been in New Jersey for the past 2 months helping my mom move into assisted living. It has been a crazy time. But I don't recommend doing that to keep your mind off of deployment. LOL!

I know it doesn't seem like it but the time will go quicker then you think. The beginning is always the hardest.

Nan that sounds like a great idea for the guys.

I posted here the other day from my phone don't know what happened to it, so here I go again.

Yes Wendy, I talked to Aaron last weekend I told him I knew about the a few new guys for the sub. I figured he would meet Kent since he is also an ET. Aaron said they were in need of some more ET, so he was glad to hear it.

I'm glad they met, and your son is doing well.

Wendy, I'm sure my son will get to know Kent, Aaron is an ET also.

Welcome Eliza!

Our little group has really been growing lately. It's great!

Welcome Wendy, that should be a nice trip on a motorcycle. Let us know when he arrives.

Nan, how nice of you Nan to send the Easter Bunny to the guys.

Gail, there is a Submarine Ball every year, It's a anniversary celebration. I believe they are held all over the country where there there is a sub base. This will explain it better then I could.

I think this year again it was held at the Hilton.

Gail have you heard from your sailor? Is he in Hawaii now?

Aaron sent a picture of himself in the elevator going to the sub ball last week. We were wondering why he had his medals pinned on the wrong side....then we realized that he took the picture of him in the mirror!!! :)

Hope everyone is doing good.
