Kathy-thanks so much for your post yesterday! I was wondering if they were going silent again since I hadn't heard from him since early Saturday morning. Well I guess we can be thankful that we got a solid week to email back and forth! I'm so excited to hear from them again. I have a week of school and next week is finals week so that will keep me busy for awhile and then I'll start on a project to have waiting for him when they come back. :) It's kinda crazy to think how fast time has gone even when some days it seems like time goes so slow. :)
This is a web site from the ITT office in Orlando and they tell you all about discounts for the Orlando area. So if any of your boys want to go to Disney it is about a 3 hour trip south of there base.

I also attached two papers that I got at the convention that gives other discounts for the area of Orlando.
I just got back from an American Legion Convention, boy am I tired. I had 2 emails waiting on me from my son. He said that they got some new hoodies in and wanted to know my size so he get me another one. The last ones that they got in were nice and comfortable. He also said something about these will be the last email for awhile so it looks like they are going silent again. So if yall don't get any emails it is ok and just keep sending yall emails to them.
Usual if they are trying to get there Dolphins they are busy once they get them it will not be so bad. They will be able to watch TV or play videos. My son's first time out was bad, that had a Chief that rode him the whole time. I did not hear any thing good about this Chief, thank god this guy is gone he finally retired.
donnab-It sounds like your son is doing so well since it's his first time out...I wonder if my boyfriend Alex and him have talked at all since he's trying to get everything done to get his "Dolphins" as well. From what he writes it sounds like it's been ridiculously stressful with a lack of sleep combined. I'm just so happy that they've made it this far and it means each day is a day closer to getting that first phone call. :) What's hard for me is getting emails but then not knowing if it'll be the last one you get for awhile or if they'll still keep coming once in awhile. At least we know that they're doing okay!
This is my son's first time out, he says he sleeps just whenever he can, doesn't know if it is day or night. Usually the emails I get he has written during the night, he says he sleeps from like 10am to 4pm eats dinner and then studies and has duty. He is still working on his quals, says he is almost finished with all of his signatures. Hopefully things will be much better for him once he gets his "Dolphins".
No this is his 3rd but my 1st since we've been together. His mom got an email today. I'm still waiting!
Is this his first patrol? The first patrol is SUPER intense and you're busy 24/7. My boyfriend basically never slept his first patrol, lol.
Yeah that actually makes sense. They will be back soon though so even if i don't get an email i will live :P
