Good morning ladies.. I agree the weather was beautiful here.. hope everyone has a blessed week
Yes it was beautiful here in Florida this weekend I finally got out and I put two small wooden military men that hold flag up in front of my house.001.JPG Of course the Army one is a guy and not a female and the Navy one looks like a officers uniform and not enlisted but what can I say that is all they had.
Good morning and Happy Monday everyone! Since I have been complaining so much about the weather, I thought I should give an update. Spring finally arrived on Friday, with 70 degrees and sunshine. It was sunny all weekend with a high yesterday of 79! That probably doesn't seem like much to those of you in FL, but it was heaven on earth here. I dropped my daughter off at the high school on Friday and every student I saw going into the school was in shorts and flip flops (with the palest white skin you can imagine). On Saturday, my 14 year old daughter was lying on a beach blanket in her bikini in front of a 2 foot pile of snow trying to tan. As of this morning, just about all of the snow is gone from our yard. This was the longest winter I remember, and even though it's going back down to 40 degrees later in the week, this little hint of summer will make it bearable. Hope you all have a great week!

Yes, the Alaska is what he's stationed on for the foreseeable future. :) He's going through the process of getting his dolphins now, but will continue serving on that sub afterwards as well. :)
danagagirl- Happy weekend to you, too!
just wanted to check in and say happy weekend to everyone.. take care :)
kbean611, Phillips is not my son either. Is the Alaska your boyfriends boat or is he just a rider?
Phillip is not my son.
donnab-
He's not my son, but it's my boyfriend's first time on the sub. :) At one point he said in one of his emails that "Phillips" says hi...but I have no clue who that is! It'd be so funny if it was your son! :)
Thank you Kathy for the information, I had thought that by the last email I recieved from my son, but didn't know for sure how long it will be, so this gives me an idea, I am praying for less than the month though. Thank you again for all your support and sharing of information you have been very helpful.
Who said this was their sons first time out on the boat? I was just wondering because this is my sons first time too.
Kathy- Thank you! :)
