I think he will realizes how bad there cloth stinks with they get back on shore.  My son has to wash everything.  I gave my son a beautiful Navy blanket when he first got to Kings Bay, I even got his name embroidery on it.  He lives it on his bed in the bks. My grandmother crocheted my sister and I a blanket when we left for the military.  My sister got blue for the Air Force and I got the green for the Army.  I still have the blanket in fact it is on my sons bed here at home.

Does anyone know if it's ok to attach a photo to an email to a sailor on a sub?

my son told me that they let them grow out facial hair.. unfortunately mine is a CS and he can't .. but when he has extended time home, he goes without shaving ... not used to seeing that look on him :) My son also said they do wear out some of the movies that they like

My spend a lot of money getting ready for the trips, and buy extra stuff so he can trade with the other guys.  He also fills up his external hard drives with games, music, and movies, and the guy usual watch or play the games together.  My son schools the guys in all the old cult classics like Clerks, The Evil Dead, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Big Lebowksi.  He found out on one trip out some of the guys never saw Saturday Night Live.  I raised my son on old school so he has seen a lot of the old movies, but he love to watch anything with Zombies.  The don't have to shave in till the end of the cruise so they are try to grow the biggest beards.  My son has black hair so of course he looks like one of those terrorist.
