I have never made my son a half way box, he said not to bother.  danagagirl he is your ex now so you go and take a girlfriend or your son and enjoy your cruise.

I just told the one in Japan the other day that he would always be my baby.. even when he was 40! Lin and Kathy the cruises sound like a wonderful time.. I have never gone on one (my ex's excuse was he was on cruises all the time :P )

Sounds like fun.  My second cruise I went to was for thanksgiving week right after my parents passed and I did not want to be around family.  So my friends husband went hunting and we went on a cruise.  She enjoyed her self so much, she really has not got out of Louisiana.  So we wanted to go on a 2nd cruise together so we waited in till my son could go.  He had his room and we had ours.  He was board the whole time, in till we got back and we took my friend to Disney for the day boy did he have a ball.  It is just my son and I so we can do things on our own time, we would love to go back to Europe and see it, my son was 3 when we were there so he does not remember it and I did not see much of it because I was always out in the field.  But I do want to go on a other cruise I want to see the Keys and go back to St Martin, I want to go on the french side and try some of the food there.   Every one keeps asking me if I am going to visit my son at Pearl when he goes, but I was station there for 3 years I don't need to go in less he gets married over there.

That is funny my self and one of my oldest friends took my son on a cruise after one of his boat rides.  He did not figure out in till the middle of the cruise that there were clubs and that is were the young people were.  I think we might take a trip to England after he finishes his tour to Pear Harbor.  Well give me some time to finish college and get a job where I can save some money and vacation time.

My oldest daughter talked to my son last week.  She asked when he was coming home and he thought it would be around October (after their next trip out).  But then they started talking about the two of them going to Germany instead of him coming home.  I warned her that if she prevents him from coming home to visit me there will be serious repercussions!!

yes, we love our guys :) I have two that are in the Navy.. the other one is in Japan.. he has been over there since September he is hoping to come home during Christmas, but it will be $3000.00 for the round trip.. I told him to start saving!!

My son will probably be without a half way package too, he is new and I had no idea of anything like that, that is sad, they will all need a pick me up by that time. I will remember for next time though.

Your son sounds like my son about doing things.  Some times he pulls a Raymond (Everybody loves Raymond) on me, and gets out of doing things.  You know in order to get him to go talk to the recruiter I had to buy him a video game.  When he is home I have to do his laundry too.  What can I say about these guys, but we love them.
