I am getting e-mails from my son. My son informed me that he will be home for X-mas. He did tell me the date. He is on the blue team. Hope this will help you out.
Oh Lin, I sure hope your information is incorrect. My son's family is really hoping he will be home. Let's hope for the best!
Thank you Lin... I am so excited that R is home and glad he will only be an hour away. I talked to him about adding me to the ombudsman list since he is a single guy.. he said he already knew and was going to :)
So glad they did a good job. I think he is looking forward to finally getting do be a sailor and not just training. .
Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas
Denise - sending prayers for you and your mom..
Good Morning to all of you Alaska people, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I have been off line for about a month since I have been in Louisville, Ky taking care of a very sick Mother. When I returned home my computer had been hacked, so I am just now getting back on line. I hope none of you got any strange emails from me. Many of my friends did.
I, too, hope our guys get back for Christmas; I would love to hear my son's voice, and I am sure his family would like to have him home for the holidays.
Merry Christmas to all!!!
There hasn't been anyone posting..are there still families on here or have they migrated somewhere else. My son is due to report January 2, and would love a support system. Thanks
Happy Thanksgiving to all the fellow sub families...Lin - mine too will be more quiet than normal...Child #1 is in Ga, Child #2 is Groton and Child #3 is Pensacola :(
At least you won't hear me complaining about leftovers..lol
Blessings to all!
Dear Lin ( Winston's Moms), I am happy to hear that you will not be alone. I hope the day is a wonderful for you.
I do hope our guys will get our messages also.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. May it be a blessed time for all of you and for our sub guys and their families.
Lin - you were all over the state ! lol
He didn't really want to be a culinary specialist, but it was either that or a paper pusher, and that wasn't he thing either.. He is making the best of it and said he has learned a lot. He is hoping to change it after the 20 months.. just keeping positive for him :)
