Thanks tylers-wife, is it something they take on the boat when they go out on patrol?

Calender pages are pages with the dates on them decorated for the sailors. I bought one and decorated it for my sailor

Kathy - I thought that's what you had said awhile back but I sometimes mix up the information between the three groups I follow!

Does anyone know what the Calendar Pages are that the Alaska Blue FRG is putting together?

My son is going to Pearl Harbor for 3 years of shore duty.

My son has been on the boat since July of 2009 he wanted to extend but was to late putting in his paper work.  But my son did reenlist for 6 more years in the Navy.  I will be going up to Kings Bay on Wed to pick him up for his leave.  He will spend about 3 weeks home then off to do 3 years shore duty.  I have been after him to star taking some CLEP test so he can get some college under his belt but you know how kids are sometimes.  I told him that he does not want to be in his 40's trying to get his degree like I am doing right now.

Thank you all for the welcome!  We have been in Georgia once to see our son and it's really a neat place.  Love the Kings Bay area!  My son is a MT.  So far,  everything he has done in the navy, he has liked - except for the oc spray!  But he survived!  It's great to "meet" some people on here so we can keep in touch since our boys are all on the same boat!
