Our sailor had to work on Mother's Day, but we were able to spend time with him and his wife and our grand daughter.  It was great. Hope you all had a great day

Well, my son is officially off the USS Alexandria.  It is his turn for land duty.  He has chosen to stay in Connecticut for this.  Not exactly sure what he will be doing.  I know he has 2 weeks of school and then 30 days leave for change from boat to land duty.  Want to say thanks to all for friendship during the last several years.  It was wonderful to be able to chat with other moms, girlfriends, etc about our sailors.  Safe travels to all.

Back from our vacation/'real wedding'...My son is enjoying his leave, but not as much as we are enjoying his company!

Had a great visit here in California with my sailor, DIL and Grandson.  They had a whirlwind adventure from Southern CA to Northern CA visiting families for both of them.  Sure quiet here since they flew back to Connecticut :-(    Hope everyone has had a chance to visit, or at least talk to their sailors.
