So happy for those of you that got to be there. My DIL took some great photos of my son and my new grandson. May try to share one if I can remember how to post it. Like I wrote earlier.....it never get any easier for me. A couple of long days and moping around :-*(
Thanks Tammy and I will be keeping your son in mine.
I just wanted to let all you ladies know that even though my son is on shore duty now, due to medical reasons and will not be going on this deployment, that I will be keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I have been there done that before, so I know what you all are going through! We feel like we are still a part of the Alex family and those sailors and their families have been wonderful friends to my son, his wife and our family. God Bless and hang in there ladies!
It is so hard when you are a detailed oriented person not knowing things. I want to say it gets easier but after 13 years, I still want to know details. :-(
Surprised I was able to post the below. Not really that experienced at copy/paste methods. Thought it was cleverly written and just a reminder. Nothing more than that.
Ladies PLEASE observe op sec rules and refrain from discussing any information about months or when our men are moving from one place to another. This is a public site. Thank you!
I sure hope someone made a video of the swim call like they have done in the past. It has since been removed from Youtube and I was not able to obtain a copy of it. But it was a blast watching it and picking out my sailor. No discussion on my end of the deployment schedule.
