I'm excited!! And I have never been to the east coast - so something new too!

Oh and Janice or any of you that your son's know mine pretty well us coming for the homecoming is a surprise for him! He has NO CLUE that we are even considering it!!

Thanks everyone! I'm not really mad - it is just unlike him! But I know he is having a good time and it is a much deserved break!! We are beginning to make our plans and for our time off for the homecoming - checked plane tickets and they aren't as high as I thought they would be - will be booking them real soon. So we are getting excited and looking forward to meeting all of you ladies too.

Janice - so sorry to hear of your news. What a blessing that they were able to get all your husbands cancer by surgery with no treatment needed! I totally understand the family pet situation too. We have two cockers that are every bit as spoiled as our kids! Either one of them are in good health - our son told us before he left on deployment not to let him now if something happened to them - that he would deal with it when he got back. So far all is good with both of them. But I do understand and feel for you and your family. Hugs and thoughts for you and your family.

I still haven't got a call from my son - so I'm a little bit frustrated with him!! I can't be mad .... but really how do you not call your mom when you can!?!?! I thought I taught him better than that!! haha

Yay...I got a call last night (his early morning). Short conversation but still sweet. He was at a hotel but getting ready to go to work on the boat.

Hi Ladies - Hope everyone is doing well. The weather is finally turning cooler here in the 70's and mid 80's this week. I love fall.
Amanda - How do we go about purchasing one of the Cookbook's? And another questions - what does the fundraising money go for?
