Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Thanks Gail for sharing the details of the dinner. Sounds like it was a nice event. I tried the big tent sign up and was not successful last deployment. Might try again.

Gail - I tried to go to bigtent.com and couldn't find the Alexandria group. Do you have any help or hints on this? Glad you had a good time at the "half-way" dinner and your trip.

Thanks for the info...how do I get in touch with the ombudsman? Those poor guys stuck in that place for 2 weeks...my son will be miserable! He says it is sooooo hot!

Just got off the phone with my son, said they were told that they are there for a minimum of 2 weeks. He wasn't excited about that!!
