Just stopping in to say a big HI. Looks like it has been pretty quiet here. Talked to Jimmy today and he is still on leave but due back on Sunday for duty. But most importantly...He and Stephanie have set the date for marriage. YAY...I will have a daughter (in-law) now. Just wanted to share my good news. Hope you are all doing well.

Phyllis. Sorry to hear you are home now away from your son...but glad you made it safe and sound with all that snow I am hearing about. Have not seen the ALEX yet but did tour Jimmy's old (and I mean old) boat the Parche. Wow I can see why they would be sick of each other! LOL Jimmy is on 2 weeks leave right now. He and Stephanie are headed to NYC. This is so great being able to talk to other moms. Thanks for the group.

Thanks Kathy. I definitely will be thinking of your son tomorrow morning. I saw on the news that the east coast is getting hit again. Jimmy did SKYPE me when they got back to the house. We talked a bit and then he said he wanted to go take "that long shower" that he usually does when he gets back from deployments. I'm so glad Stephanie acknowledged you. She is something! Enjoy your time with your son :)

With tears flowing I report.....they are home!!!! Stephanie called me from the dock to say the boat has arrived. She will have Jimmy call me as soon as she can. I thought it was so sweet of her to call. You all know I did not know the date they were coming home. Had some ideas from reading everything here and there. It was killing me not knowing. She posted "Guess where I am going??!!??" as her status this morning and I knew....then I got the call. Big Smiles Here. I know you mothers there are smiling too!

Sad face here.....wishing I could be there too! Each and everyone of you enjoy your time with your loved one. Still don't know what day they come in but I'll just have to wait for a phone call. Stephanie will be on the dock waiting for Jimmy which is what counts.

Oh...forgot to mention that I SKYPED with Jimmy this morning. It was wonderful to see his smiling face. It is Christmas Eve there and he and a couple other sailors were going to eat in the hotel. He has duty tomorrow so would not be calling. I just love Skype.
