Do you have a Sailor on the USS Barry?

My son just met up with the Barry a couple of days ago. I haven't seen anyone else say whether or not their Sailor was on the Barry, so upon the advise a good N4M friend, I decided to start a group! Hope there's more Mom's out there that their Sailors call the Barry 'home'.

My son just joined the USS Barry and I'm glad to find parents that also have family on there also. I will be nice to have someone to talk to while they are in boot camp. I have n idea of what happens so I would be glad if some one could help me through this time.

Hello everyone.  Thank you for this website.  My son is a sailor on USS Barry.  I just received a short email from him and just wanted to pass on that everything seems to be going well for our sailors.

Hi Frederica,

My husband fixed a "goodie" box for Jimmy, as well. He will be very excited to get the various treats. He requested tang, tastycakes, and other snacks. I am sure your son will appreciate everything you sent to him. He is very fortunate to have a mom such as yourself. Have a great weekend, dear.

Hello, Frederica,

I just wanted to tell you that my son told me he and your son are good friends. I told him that that was a pretty cool thing as I have "spoke" with you on Navy for Moms. Glad to hear he finally received his package!! Have a great day

yay! My daughter is STILL waiting on the box of shampoo, etc, that I mailed at the begining of Feb. She got the others I have sent. She got 12 packages in one day. I know that helps to keep their morale up. :)

Hi Frederica,

My son is aboard the USS Barry as well. I am sure you are as concerned as I am about their safety. We received a short email from him yesterday which made me feel a little better. If you need me...I am here for you.

Have a great day

My son is serving on the USS Barry. I just want to let him and all the other sailors know how much my family and I appreciate their service. God Bless our Sailors and stay safe. You all have a lot of support from home!!
