USS Bataan LHD-5

Group for family members of Sailors who are on the USS Bataan (LHD-5)

Members: 144
Latest Activity: Aug 25, 2019

I decided to start this group to see who else may have a Sailor on this ship; or heading to this ship.

Granted, we may be a bit limited to what we can discuss openly online, but if nothing else, may be a good way to connect and network off-line as well.

Make sure to not disclose advance ship movements or other OPSEC issues.

My son is an FC2 on this ship.

My son emailed me and said he got his Chriatmas package today . I was really hoping it got there before Christmas so this was wonderful news..... Had a necklace missing out of it though. The box was on there but it was empty he said. Not sure what happened to it.
