That's so sweet. I can't wait for them to come home. He's never gonna leave my side:D If you ever need anything I'm here.
His parents and the love that I know he left me keeps me going. I know its worth while he always said that to me on an email and he would say I am his present and future. :-D
How lucky are we to get the longest deployment for our first. lol I cried for days when he left. I can't even imagine what families go through. I'm just his girlfriend and this is super hard. It'll all be worth it in the end. That's what keeps me going:)
yeah I have had a recent email from like last weekend he said he can't wait to come home as of late he has been looking at his favorite pictures of me. I remembered in the beginning of the deployment I wrote a letter to him a day. Its such a long deployment. I wonder how you families can deal with it. I somehow struggled a lot with my emotions going up and down. When he left it felt like it was like a funeral.
No we're not married. Just bf and gf. This is my first deployment too so I sometimes think he forgets about me too when he doesnt email, but I know he doesnt. I'm sure he's thinking about you as much as you are him.
Are you married? Yeah I am more feeling not lost just want some security from him. You know it takes two for a relationship.
I know exactly how you feel. I'm the same way. It's like we're on the same page or something because right now I'm feeling a little lost.
Hey ladies, I need some reassurance. I feel sometimes when he doesn't email me like usual that he is forgetting about me. I am new to this so please explain to me if this feeling is natural for a gf. I don't bombard him with emails or anything. I am the clingy type but I feel insecure at times where he might come home and forget i exist because its been so long since we seen each other. Its not like we are married or anything but it is serious I let him lead the way in our relationship without pressure or anything. I am the type of girl who wants a man to lead her way. I am independent and I support myself but I want a gentleman and he is one of them.
VCabana, I heard from mine early this morning. First time I heard anything from him since he told me he made E6. Said he has been VERY busy since then.
