Hi friends,

Enjoying having Josh home.  He's been quite busy catching up with friends.  Golf, soccer, baseball, fires in the yard, swimming, and visiting the Saratoga Race Track.  We went to visit my uncle last Wednesday.  What a sweet reunion that was.

Kyann, how adorable of your daughter!

Marianne, nice to hear Katie will be home soon.

Sharon, love the family pictures.  Beautiful family!  Enjoy!

Take care all!

Sharon, I enjoyed looking at ALL the pics.  So glad that it sounds like Steven has found someone. Hopefully it is the real thing.  That picture will be coming.  If he brought the uniform home and wore it in as a surprise, I'm sure he intends to go back for the pic w/his GF. (Who knows, they can have it ready for the upcoming engagement?!?!)

danagagirl - where are your sons stationed/or so to be stationed?

I have definitely learned to adapt with both sons (twins) in the Navy.. I always thought it would be easier when they got older. I do cherish the time with them as I know they are limited.

Sharon....let's just say 'it is the barge life for her'....She misses the sea.  Katie will be visiting here soon for 2 weeks.  I know that she has a visit to Grandma's (with me); 4-day trip to see her sister in Sault Ste Marie; Detroit Tiger game (even though her favorite player is now playing for Oakland (?)-Brandon Inge; after church the first Sunday she is getting together with her friend's family. Thanks for asking.

Hope that pic works out for you all.  They are so nice to have.....so how serious is the GF?

yes, marianne, it is our daughter (almost 11) who initiated it.  she's just a sweetie.

and, sharon, i let kami talk to hunter when i was on fb, and she asked him if he could come home this friday, and he said not this year, sorry...so cute how she thinks.  and i won't be disappointed because she is working so hard at it (even if it's just a cake and a few people), we will totally enjoy it!  :)

i'm sure you are enjoying your time with steven!  is it hard sharing him?  haha

danagagirl - Well, you get to have him just a little longer in the states! ;)

my son just reminded me that he has a month left of C school and will be home... I was thinking longer..then I remembered he'd be leaving again to meet this new command.. ah the joys of the motherhood roller coaster!
