I hope you all have fun on the ship! While my husband was on there, it was in dry dock San Diego, and it was a huge mess! I didn't ever get to go on it...partially because I was pregnant during part of it.  But my husband said parts of it were looking absolutely beautiful. :)

well, susanna, i can't say i got my info from my son...haha  let's just say getting info from his is like, well, you know... :)  i have asked him to make reservations at the Navy lodge for a couple days after the cruise, and how much ya wanna bet we don't have reservations yet???  i guess i'll have to post something on his fb page to get his attention.  lol

yes, we are going, Lord willing.  i just scanned and emailed our medical forms, now waiting to hear if we are cleared by the ship's dr.  oh, by the way, all forms have to be in by the 21st of this month, so if you are even considering it, i would contact the ombudsman, as sharon suggested. hurry!  i would love to meet some of my cyber friends in person!

kimTN, sounds like you had a wonderful mother's day.

and, yes, it's CRAZY, cathy!  excited, but nervous!

Nice mother's day here too.  Got a text from Josh.  He sounded in good spirits (made me feel good!).  Our family spent the day with our uncle at the assisted living.  He loves chinese so we ordered take out and ate there.  He's had a bad couple of weeks and couple of bad episodes...his amonia levels skyrocketed and his medicine has been adjusted and now his body is trying to readjust.  Seems to get more difficult each time for him :-(

Kim & Tina - nice to hear from you.  Hope all is well with your sailors!

Sharon - hope you hear dates soon!!!  Josh just put in a chit for leave.  Who knows when he'll get approval!

Oh Kyann!  Another thing checked off your list!  Excitement level must be CRAZY!!!!

Take care all!!
