Thanks for sharing the picture Sharon. I saw it on Facebook and shared it with my friends and family.

I just sent my daughter-in-law a text and she said that they aren't back yet. She said that she was told that it would be today or tomorrow when they get back.

Sharon....lots of pix of the BHR on their Facebook page.  Everything is pretty nice & updated, when they do their hull swap, he'll feel like he's on a floating hotel! : )

I was the one who helped her come up with the list of things to bring...if you have any more questions, I'd be glad to help. I agree though, pack as light as possible and bring a duffel type bag that will go in a locker.

Yours will be a shorter cruise but I would hope you'd still do some of the things we did.  They had activities for us every day and night, we toured the whole ship, met lots of nice families and sailors. You'll do lots of walking, climbing stairs, but it's all fun.  I'm sad I can't go this time, I'd love to meet the other Navy moms!

Mom of two...........do you have any suggestions (besides what Jane wrote earlier) about what to bring?  I have to come from Iowa, so can't be schlepping too much stuff with me!
